What if, instead of brown shirts, the Nazi S.A. had adopted white, hooded robes as their official uniform, and had engaged in night-time raids on Jews, known homosexuals, Gypsies, and other "undesirables" as seen by the Nazi Party, similar to the activities of the American KKK? They also engage in their normal activities as per OTL...mass torchlight marches and rallies, strong-arming political opposition in the streets, etc. How might this have affected the Nazis' rise to power? Could some sort of alliance between the German and the American versions of the KKK have been worked out, possibly allowing the Klan in America to be even more powerful than it became in the 1920s?
