Hey,

I am formulating an Napoelon ATL based on one of my previous threads: https://www.alternatehistory.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=312985

I would like everyone's opinion on where the major POD should fall?

1.Before Armistice of Plaswitz

Involving battles of Lutzen and Bautzen

2.After Armistice of Plaswitz

Involving battles of Dresden, Dennewitz, Leipzig

3. No Armistice and Austria stays out

Napoleon does not agree to an armistice and fights on. Austria also stays out of the war.

One of my favorite PODs is the fact that, during the Battle of Leipzig, a French cavalry unit came within a hairsbreadth of capturing Czar Alexander I of Russia, King Frederick III of Prussia, and many of their senior commanders. That would have been the catch of a lifetime and would have probably led to the instant recovery of most of Central Europe by Napoleon.

"Hi Alex! Hi Fred! You see this map? Right here is the Vistula River..."

Then what happen if Napoleon capture them?

Well would the army really fight Napoleon without them? I mean, he can essentially dictate terms to them if he has them captured...

Napoleon effectively held the Pope hostage and made him sign the Concordat in 1813, so i could definitely see him doing the same here ;)

This is defiantly a great POD
