Napoleon killed at the battle of Leipzig - what happens now?

Considering that the Battle of Leipzig - or the Battle of Nations - as it is known, was fought between the French against the Austrians, Swedish, Prussians and Russians, and was easily the largest Battle in Europe up to that point, especially in the Napoleonic wars. And Napoleon was decisively defeated in OTL, what exactly would the effect be if he had been killed during the battle?

The Confederation of the Rhine ended up defecting to the side of the Coalition - could wee see an earlier German Confederation perhaps, with Austria and Prussia involved?

possibly a Regency with Austria wanting to secure Napoleon II on the throne?
