Napoleon in Istanbul?

Interesting, a whiff of grapeshot in Istanbul say thirty years or so early. The Ottomans were always big fans of artillery so he should fit right in. A Selim III that isn't assassinated but manages to carry on his reforms is certainly going to change things. Two easy points of departure include an earlier Auspicious Incident or when the Janissaries revolt and march on the palace to depose Selim III as in our timeline alternate-Napoleon is able to defend the palace long enough for either Selim to get away or hold out until outside reinforcements arrive. Of course a Sultan that looks to be becoming under the influence of a former French officer could make the allies a bit twitchy which would just add to the fun. :)
