Napoleon II's regency

Here's one for ya;

At the end of the alternate Napoleonic wars, all of Europe has been forced to accept Napoleon as rightful Emperor of France. Most of Germany, Italy, Iberia and Scandinavia have been left french-aligned, some ruled by Napoleon's family. The russian army has been crushed in a failed invasion of Poland while Britain has run out of allies willing to fight the land war for them.

Napoleon's spent the better part of the 1810's reorganizing France and her client states, aswell as writing military manuals. In 1821 he gets very sick, poisoned by his enemies like Alexander the great some say, he's dead within weeks.

He leaves this radically different Europe after him, aswell as his son Napoleon II, only 11 years old.

What happens to this child, who will be his guardian until he comes of age? His mother? A council of generals? The pope ?(he was king of Rome after all) Or does France collapse into civil war?

Come up with some fun scenarios, don't dwell too much on the likelyhood of Napoleon's win.

OTL he got clearly ill of stomach cancer around February 1821. His father died of stomach cancer too, so not suspicious.

Under the constitution of 1804, the regent of the Empire should have been Napoleon's brother Joseph (would live till 1844). Marie-Louise would be guardian of Emperor's person.
Were there any changes in this plan OTL (e. g. on occasion of Jose I becoming King of Spain)?
Would anyone challenge this plan seriously enough to substitute another arrangement, or a civil war?

Marie-Louise was nominally regent while Napoléon campaigned against the Sixth coalition.
