What if Napoleon decides not to become emperor and continue a republican form of the French government? How does this affect the Napoleonic Code or how he carves up Europe?
techincally he did endorse the revolution and republic still, even after becoming emperor, as he was emperor of the french, rather than france (though called a empire, it was still the republic.......in name at least)
Well still, what affects would this have across his career anyways? I mean sure the Napoleonic Code would be altered and stuff, but the Declaration of the Rights of Man should still be in place, right?
