Napoleon and Russia.

i know that the Ottomans and Frencgh had been allies, but how about Napoleon gives Russia a free hand to attackthem and go for Constantinople, puts more Pressure on a Russian British working relationship. With Russia deeply involved he can turn to fully deal with Austria.

He tried this strategy IOTL. That war is where Russia's claim to Bessarabia came from and it didn't stop him from invading Russia anyway in 1812.

Russia certainly likes winning and likes land acquisitions, but they aren't these crazy overextendy mega-aggressors that seem to live a rich memetic life on history forums.

They'd quickly force the Ottomans to admit some kind of defeat if France ever looked like the more immediate threat, which is exactly what happened OTL. Also, Russia won too quickly against both Ottomans and Sweden; Napoleon clearly underestimated them if that was really his strategy.
