Napolean dies early -- Fate Kingdom N-Italy

From the change one event thread.
If for some weird reason you want to preserve the Bonapartist regime in France, surely your best way is to kill Napoleon, say in the Winter of 1811/12. That way, the Rhine Frontier can be defended with the hundreds of thousands of veterans whom he threw away in Russia, instead of by teenage "Marie-Louises", while if the new government has the minimal intelligence to pull out of Spain, the men who OTL were lost there are also available for something that matters. So even if all the Powers gang up on France, they can be seen off without too much trouble.

Assuming that a Napoleon dies early TL leads to the survival of the French Empire [for ???? years]
?What happens to the Kingdom North Italy, Confederation of the Rhine, and other creations of Le Empireor.?

Personnally, I don't think Napoelon's death in 1811/1812 can ensure the survival of the First French Empire. But that's only my opinion.

Anyway...
Regarding the Kingdom of Italy, Napoleon had wished that the Kingdom was given to his stepson, Eugene de Beauharnais, had Napoloen no other sons before his death : that's why Eugene had the title "Prince of Venice". Basically, Eugene, who was Viceroy of Italy during all of Napoleon's reign, would become King Eugene I of Italy.
Napoleon also had the idea of giving Italy the Illyrian Provinces : basically, this would lead to a larger kingdom in North Italy.

For the Confederation of the Rhine, I don't really know : the major member states (the Kingdoms of Saxony, Bavaria and Wurtemberg) were largely pro-French. They could stay in alliance with France because of that. However, let's not forget that Austria and maybe Prussia have eyes on Germany : they are likely to try to regain their position.

As for the other Napoleonides (States created by Napoleon), it depends...

-Joseph Bonaparte will probably still lose the crown of Spain. After all, Joseph was definitely defeated at Vittoria in 1813 : I don't see how much that will be changed by Napoleon's earlier death.

-I think Italy could stay the same way it was during the Napoleonic Wars, which is basically a partition between four Italian States (Kingdoms of Italy, Naples, Sardinia and Sicily) plus Papal States under French control. Now, if the Austrians wishes to recover hegemony in Italy, they could go to war. I'm not sure of this though as Eugene was extremly popular among the Allies. What I could see would be the Papal States recovering Independance, being given to Italy or Naples or being partitioned between the two.

-The Kingdom of Westphalia will probably stay in the Rhine Confederation. His fate is thus linked to it.
