Names for a united Europe post rome?

Assume that by some miracle someone can unify most of Western Europe and do as well as the Roman’s or Charlemagne what are some names for this that are Europa or Roma?

I suppose it depends partly on how and when it is united. If one party, person, tribe, or country overpowers everyone else, it's likely to just be called "The (fill-in-the-blank) Empire". This seems more likely if this happens shortly after the Roman Empire, but could also happen centuries later (like the "French Empire" of Napoleon). If it starts early and lasts long enough, it could lead to some re-branding. Like, if the various Gothic tribes unite and form a Greater Gothic Empire, then centuries later Western Europe might just be called "Gotha" or "Gothia"?

If everyone sort of comes together for some reason, it's likely to be something unimaginative like "The European Republic" or "The Western European Alliance". I think this is especially likely if this happens in later on when people are more likely to be united by an ideology than a conqueror.

"Almain" (Latinised as Alemannia/Almania) for any Germanic Empire which rules Europe. Even if the Alemanni aren't involved, the etymology attributed to that Germanic group, "all men", seems too good to ignore. For that matter, Gothic has "Alamans" as a cognate, meaning "all humanity" (basically the same as Proto-Germanic "Alamanniz").

Overall, the Roman Empire is the best chance for this, and it would be identified as the Roman Empire (or Second Roman Republic or whatever) by outside observers. Europe as a continent isn't guaranteed to exist. OTL it's surprising there's such a divide between the north Mediterranean (Spain, Italy, Greece) and the south Mediterranean (Africa, Libya, Mauretania) despite being much more linked historically than they were to places like Britain, Scandinavia, and Germany.

"Ours" in whatever language the ruling dynasty speaks.

Languages it would be cool IMHO and has nothing to do with said likelihood is Irish, because it's about time the 'luck of the Irish' meant something other than being lorded over by the English and Potato famines, Old Norse or Old Germanic because I like the idea of old Norse/Germanic paganism being the state religion, and something extinct and Baltic like old Prussian because it would be fun when the ASB open a gate between worlds and both sides say "wtf are you saying".

By far the three most likely names are

The Holy Roman Empire.

Whatever a European Mongol Khanate would be called.

The Empire of the French.

Coming in a close fourth would be Dar-al Franji, something like that.

Does ruling through puppeting and hegemony count? If so German Empire and the French Empire. Maybe a greatly expanded Holy Roman Empire. Other options the Habsburg, Third Reich, and restored Roman Empire soon after the fall of the empire and if Christianity never gets big. Without Christianity I think Rome and Europe becomes more like China politically where you will have barbarian armies or hordes take over but eventually adopt Roman culture. Or you have warring states periods and changing of leadership or government every few hundred years. While everyone in most of Europe might have their individual cultures and faiths the Roman identity is looked at and valued like the Chinese identity in China.

The Federal Republic Of Europe? The Europeans Confederation? The Union Of Soviet Socialist Republics? The United States Of Europe? The European Federative Democratic Republic? The Europeans fedsration? The Europeans republic? The European Empire? The Holy Roman Empire?

European Commonwealth( EC for short) or just Euro(terrible I know , but I'm pretty sure I heard it used in a movie I recently watched.)

That would be partially because of religion and partially because of the long, long period of Barbary slave raiding, I’d guess.

The single shared phrase between worlds, "wtf are you saying" becomes their Rosetta stone by which they translate each others languages.

The odds that the whole thing would be what the word "France" (or its equivalent) means ITTL are quite decent, as the Franks are well-positioned to be the nucleus of this entity in pot-Roman times. Most non-WEuropeans tended to call all Christian Western Europeans "Franks" (or its equivalent) by extension for a long time.

That would be Francia.
