Name of Norse Northern Scotland

I'm looking for a suitable name for a Norse northern Scotland, covering everything north of the Central Belt. It's for a TL I'm working on. I do have to add that the people living south of them are not English. Can anyone help me out?

Pictland maybe? Its what I used in my Song of Roland timeline.

the problem with 'Pictland' is it is usually associated with the 'Picts' themselves and I guess from Theodric's question, he is more after a Norse-like name. I really suspect this is more a question for someone like Leo but I think 'Caithness' is supposed to be a 'Norse' name so that might do?

Well, it might do, since I want my TL's Scotland to be very much like a huge Caithness. I'm still open to further suggestions.

Well the area south of Caithness was called Sudrland (Southland, I presume) and is still called Sutherland. I'd call it the same.

Beautiful place, if you ever get the chance to go (see more photos here).
