Cascadia.
Now I'm a football fan, the 'soccer' kind. And am a fond MLS supporter, recently taking up supporting of Seattle Sounders. I'm not American, I'm Welsh and a huge football manager fan. I digress.

The team plays in a competition called the Cascade Cup and that got me thinking. Cascadia has been floated about everywhere on these and other sites forums.

How plausible is it during the ARW or of that is too early then sometime therafter for an independt Cascadia to be formed, preferably by the British & Canadians with a British Monarch on the throne or if needs be a president.

ARW is way, way too early. You'd want a POD somewhere around California Republic-ish time. You'd also need a British military victory or concessions somewhere for the US to allow Cascadia to be under the British crown (even if it is technically independent)

ANy idea how we can achieve a British victory during ARW or a stalemate with both sides agreeing concessions
ARW would be difficult because the Spanish, first Europeans that show up in Oregon, don't arrive into the Oregon Territory until 1776. There is going to be little interest in the territory in the United States during the ARW. The US interests in the territory come following the Louisiana Purchase in 1803. Joint occupation of the territory was granted by the Treaty of 1818. So I think the earliest POD would be a different result in 1812 that leads to settlement of border issues between British North America and the United Sates.

I thought about a timeline with Cascadia being a Constitutional Monarchy, but I would end up being the King. :D
