Europe Destroyed, Africa Reborn
1347-1353: The Black Death rages through Europe and Asia, killing off most of Europe and Asia’s populations and resulting into tribal type governments to reform in place of the former Kingdoms, (with Christianity only surviving due to the people needing something to believe in), and due to Europe and Asia being thrown back into the Dark Ages, the Civilizations and tribes of Africa, North America, and South America will be able to rise to prominence instead of those of Europe, resulting in a very different world…
Era of Nationalism
1368, onward: The northern African tribes begin to learn of the systems of government from the old and now dead nations of Europe, and the Moorish tribes on the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean agree to unite to form the Kingdom of the Moors, under King Mauli I, who begins to subjugate the tribes on its southern and eastern borders.
1369, onward: The tribes of Egypt agree to re-unite to resurrect the Kingdom of Egypt, and with its new capitol at Cairo under Pharaoh Ramses IV, begins to subjugate and conquer the tribes on its borders in Africa as well as the Middle East.
1392, onward: To counter Egyptian and Moorish expansion, the other tribes of northern and western Africa begin to unite and form new Kingdoms and nations, with a total of 12 new Kingdoms being formed, among them the Sao, Gao, Ghana, Luo, Somalis, Axum, and several Garamantian nations.
1418-1436: The Bantu tribes unite under a zeal filled and courageous leader known only as Battues, as he was called by his supporters.
1421-1457: The Khoisan tribes unite as the Kingdom of Khoisan under Kaunakakai I due to the growing power and aggression of the new Bantu Kingdom to the north. Around the same time the Malagasyan tribes in Madagascar unite to form the Kingdom of Madagascar under Magua I.
1457: Africa is now divided into 18 separate and fully functional Kingdoms.
Post Unification
1479-1503: A series of wars break out between the newly formed Kingdoms of Africa over land and trading rights as well as other issues.
1503: The Great African Wars end and a period of prosperity begins for the new African Kingdoms. 1528: A commercial fleet from the Kingdom of Ghana is blown off course and they make landfall in OTL Venezuela, which in this timeline is part of the Incan Empire, and the first contact between the New and Old Worlds takes place, with King Ghuanton III of Ghana and Emperor Topa Inca II of the Inca both agreeing to the official exchanging of Ambassadors.
1529, onward: As news of the discovery of America begins to reach the states of Africa and the few remain desolate nation-states in Europe, a race for colonies and riches begins to take advantage of this “New World” begins, while several European rump states surviving in the ruins of what used to be the Golden Age of Europe, begin to settle in what many call “North America”, but not to establish Empires, but to create a new homeland for their devastated peoples and to eventually resurrect there long dead nations back in there rightful places, with several groups of French settlers establishing the Kingdom of New France near OTL Quebec City while near OTL New York City, the Dutch re-establish the Kingdom of the Netherlands with there capitol at the settlement of New Amsterdam.
1545: The Aztecs are met by a Bantu explorer named Casmal Dantmar, who establishes an embassy for his nation in the Aztec capitol.
