In 1989, at a live MTV Milli Vanilli performance at a theme park in Bristol, Connecticut, the tape that they were lip synching to got stuck, and the song Girl, You Know it's true skipped, saying that line over and over. That eventually led to Rob Pilatus and Fab Morvan, the "frontmen" to actually want to sing, and led to Frank Farian, the producer, confessing to reporters that they weren't the actual singers. Milli Vanilli then had to give back the Grammys that they won. But, what if that tape never skipped?
