Multinational Relationships in the next War

Currently an OCT at JMRC Germany where we host and train American forces and their NATO allies. It's the smallest training center, only able to hold a Brigade level sized fight. We've gone to a Decisive Action Training Environment or DATE (aka Force-on-Force) and keep the COIN for Stability OPs when/where possible. It gives a full spectrum battlespace now, more encompassing than previous years.

Issues are now arising once boots are on the ground and NATO member nation battalions and companies are added to the mix. Things especially go pear shaped when a NATO member (not Britain) is in Brigade Command over American and MultiNational Forces (MNF). We've seen a wide array of issues stemming from the Command structure all the way through logistics and strikes me as odd considering we've done this so many times before. Considering the realistic view that we will soon become entangled within a NATO led fight, what do you see as the next war? Is it to be Lead Nation lead such as the USA did in the Korean Conflict? Will it be Parellel based such as Bosnia/Kosovo where each nation had its own zone of control under a small command structure? Or is it to be a regional alliance, where through NATO, the nation with the most forces and equipment serves as the alliance commander; most notably Operation Sea Lion?
