MPs ignore Churchill, Chamberlain stays on....

What if British MPs ignored Churchill's warnings about Hitler's conquest of Europe and Britain's possible fall?

If Chamberlain remained in power would Hitler have a better chance of taking Britian?

The Germans had 0% chance of 'taking Britain' by invasion. They may have been able to compel a peace treaty with Chamberlain. However, Chamberlain's days were numbered both from a political and health standpoint (he died in Nov '40) so it is unlikely that Chamberlain would be able to stay in office for long after Dunkirk no matter what.

Chamberlain resigned because of the Norway disaster. Churchill's attitude towards the threat on the Western front (or of a possible invasion of Britain) had nothing to do with it.

The 1994 ATL movie "Fatherland" tells of a sucessful German invasion and the fall of Britain.

If a country's leader is weak or inept there is always a risk of enemy invasion or ocuppation...

AFAIK Fatherland just says that Britain was succesfully invaded. Not how. Why? Because that wasn't possible.

Don't believe everything a book tells you, or in this case a film adaption of the book. ;)

And 'Red Dawn' was a movie about a successful Soviet invasion of the USA. The movie doesn't make it a realistic basis for a serious TL.

Well, and also 'Peace in Our Time' vs Poland. I think with the invasion of Poland, he could not, absolutely not, have hung on very much longer. Norway kind of clinched it, but the final outcome wasn't in doubt. AFAIK. Now, who succeeds him, that's a question.
