My vote goes for Reagent and Flashman's Mittelafrikanisch Autobahnkarte, it's an undeniable masterpiece.

I'm gonna be predictable and go with Reagent's map. There are some problems with it (e.g. some cities still have Belgian names) but overall I really like both the concept and the map design itself.
