As many of you know, the helmets featured in the great war took inspiration from designs created during the early modern and medieval era. However, many helmet designs were left behind such as the once popular Morion and lobster tail helm as well as the Burgonet. So, is there anyway for these designs to make a comeback in some countries during the war?

(for the sake of giving these helmets a chance, all objects on the helmet that are obviously obsolete, like face masks, will be removed from the modernised helmet)

It could be argued that the German Stahlhelm was an update of the Sallet, minus the lobster-tail. Some of the experimental helmets tested out during the First World War were strange, so the odds are good that somewhere, someone either reinvented the wheel or came up with a new design based on very old designs.
