WI James Monroe dies in 1819?

His immediate successor is of course VP Daniel D Tompkins, but iirc he was in poor health so a doubtful runner for an elected term. Judging from 1816, the likeliest DR nominee is Crawford, who in 1820 hasn't yet had a stroke, so might be in with a real chance. But will he be unopposed or will you get rival DR candidates, so that 1820 becomes an alt-1824?

Also, does this affect the fight over Missouri? Iirc Tompkins was somewhat anti-slavery, though I'm not sure how strongly. Or is all much the same?
