Mongols defeat Mamelukes.

The Mamelukes were able to defeat the Mongols mainly because the bulk of the Mongol forces had withdrawn before the battle. WI: Hulagu and the main Mongol army had remained, thereby easily destroying the Mamelukes and occupying Egypt, and possibly N. Africa?

They would not expand into North Africa IMO, but Egypt is semi-likely.
Someone (Ran Exilis, I think) laid out the plans for a Mongol victory at Ain Jalut, leading to a Nestorian khanate encompassing Egypt, the Levant, the Caucasus, and part of Anatolia. I think that could definitely happen were the Mongols to conquer Egypt. Although with their track record in Persia and the Ukraine, they could just as easily have converted to Islam.
