Monarchist Antarctica

I am Orkisquork I, Grand Emperor of the Penguin Race, Lord of the Ice Fields, and Sovereign of the Great South! Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!

:D:D:D

Long Live King Falcon!

Okay.

Kong Roald I (Roald Engelbret Gravning Amundsen) 1911-1928 d.s.p.

King Peter I (Peter Markham Scott, son of Robert F. Scott) 1926-1989

King Falcon (Falcon Scott, son) 1989-present

If Falcon's line dies out (albeit he has two sons) the succession will go to the descendants of his sisters, and should those fail, to the descendants of Sir Ernest Shackleton . . .

Well if Britain decides to integrate her Antarctic territories into the commonwealth for some odd reason I suppose that counts as monarchist Antarctica

Have Nazi Germany establish their proposed whaling station in New Swabia, then have one of Kaiser Wilhelm II's grandsons lead a private expedition to seize it during WW2?

A nutter sails to Antarctica, declares himself the Sovereign of the South Pole. He uses the remains of an abandoned British outpost to build a hut and feeds himself on penguin meat for several years.

No one considers it worthwhile to bother the crazy old man. For a short period of time, before he dies from exposure and malnutrition, the reign of the Sovereign of the South Pole is UNDISPUTED.
