So it ws called. In the sixth year of the Seven Years' War (so 1762), the Russian Tsarina, Elizabeth, died. She was succeeded by the German-born (and obviously pro-German) Peter III. He immediately ended the war with Germany, leaving Russia with no significant gains.
But what if things had went differently? What if, perhaps, Elizabeth survived for another year? Russian Armies already occupied Berlin and much of Prussia. The Prussian Army was defeated and Frederick the Great was on the verge of committing suicide. If she had survived that extra year, would Russia have conquered and annexed all of Prussia? Would it have taken what it alerady had, leaving a rump Prussia? If it had taken the entire nation, how would this affect the rest of history?
