Middle Eastern Chaos- Shooting Spree '48

Let's say between 1939-48 that Ben-Gurion, Abdullah, Farouk are assassinated. Perhaps Begin as well. Now what happens? Will the Brits hang on, who will become the first Israeli PM, since B-G never had anyone remotely resembling a DPM.

Off the top of my head, Jordan is in most trouble. It is a very young kingdom, and one not united by anything more than king himself. Taking into account that "Little Hussein" is but a baby at this point, his father Talal has menthal issues and Talal's brothers is but a bunch of greedy and selfish princes, the country can go down in flames very quickly. This is one area where British wouldn't leave, most likely, just because it would turn into sheer free-for-all desert madness without them.
Israel would be in more dangerous position without BG (it would get it's independence as in OTL, more or less, but War of Independence would be tougher, as BG's quick decision-making was important; sometimes in war less-than-ideal but quick decision is more important that good but late one), but not critically so. Labour Party (which effectively controlled the country at this point) had pretty solid leadership group. Names like Levi Eshkol, Moshe Sharett, Golda Meir immediately spring to mind. Begin's assassination would be probably a blessing in disguise for this group, as he was bigger than any of them, but his party was weaker, so his death would spare Israel of vicious power struggle.
Egypt's position is also not so tough. Farouk had no brothers, so there's no heir apparent. Some power struggle would happen, but I don't expect it to be long. My money are on Mohammed Ali Tewfik, Farouk's uncle, becoming king.
