Mexican Population Density 19th century

Not 100% sure if this is the right forum to post this in but,
does anyone have any sources/know any specifics on the population densities of different Mexican states (especially northern ones) around the time of the Mexican-American War.
I am trying to write a TL where the Republic of the Rio Grande goes down a similar path to the Republic of Texas with lots of Anglo-American immigration however I'm finding it difficult to find how densely populated Northern Mexico was in the early to mid-19th century. I know it was pretty sparse but I'd prefer to have some numbers/density map to back it up.
Specifically, I need Alta/Baja California, New Mexico, Texas, Rep. of Rio Grande states, Sonora, Sinaloa, Chihuahua, Durango, Zacatecas, and San Luis Potosi.
I'd also like figures for the rest of Mexico too (especially Yucatan area and central Mexico area) as the TL will include the US annexing other areas later on so it would be good to know their densities too.
