Suppose that sometime in the near future, a new drug was developed. This substance allows the user to re-experience memories selectively (i.e. if you want to remember something in particular, you will experience it as though it is happening in the present). It is adminstered through the bloodstream, in much the same way that heroin or morphine is. What would the consequences of a memory-enhancing drug be?
