I was wondering, in Medieval Europe, the degree to which everyday life was similar and different (ie, for peasants, priests, nobility), especially in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe, in comparison to England and France, which I fondly imagine to "know" (in a very generous definition of the word) about. I'm not just talking about quality of life, and social and political systems, but the differences between everyday life for all of the above classes in different regions of Europe, using England and France as a baseline for comparison.
