If Lee decides on Gettysburg-style "Yaah, let's go get 'em" attacks he doesn't need 1,000,000:1 odds to lose horribly. Given that the actual numbers were 38,000 against 75,000, McClellan would have an easy victory by letting Lee batter his army to death.

Yes, like leaving a full quarter of your troops out of the battle when the enemy is willing to use all his own. But aside from that, what else do you dislike about McClellan the field commander?
