Hey- as you can probably see, my name-tag is Fatal Wit. I'm not quite sure how I should introduce myself- I suppose "I find alternate history interesting" will suffice?
Anyway, I've been planning a TL for a few weeks- I may have the first part ready by the end of today but I doubt it.
Nonetheless, I decided to create this thread so as to ensure I do actually start the timeline(well, it won't be in "timeline" form", so I'm not sure if thats the right name for it), and also to ask for some help in regards to it.
Ok, the TL itself- it is based around, as the title suggests, the Maya. Namely, rather then sufferring a terrible decline, they continue to advance and remain the dominant American power(until Europeans arrive, at least).
Thing is, I don't know how that would effect Eurasia and Africa? Would it effect them at all? If so, how so? I mean, I know Central America is rainforesty, so a strong agricultural civilisation their will mean heavy deforestation and thus probably a rise in global temperatures.
Would this maybe make Scandinavia stronger(on account of being warmer) and the Middle East weaker(for same reason), for example?
