Maximal Turkey post 1918?

As something of a sequel to my Sevres thread earlier this week, how large can Turkey get with a POD after November 11th 1918? Does she stand any chance of regaining any of her European territories?

Maximal Turkey is OTL plus Batum & Mosul. The only territory in reach in the Balkans that had a Turkish majority was Western Thrace, and to get that would require fighting, which was unlikely.

Western Thrace, Cyprus, and the Dodecanese are very remotely possible, but would require some disaster somewhere else that forced the British to compromise. This is not an impossibility, as at the time they were hard pressed everywhere, in Ireland, Iraq, having very serious financial problems, etc.

If the Chanak Crisis turns into a localised war that the British are eager to get out of for domestic considerations, could this lead to longer-term repurcussions in Mesopotamia etc? In the later 1920s or so?

Why does it rain in Wales?

While Abdul has a point territorially, I wonder if, in addition to that, make Turkey maximum in some other way-maybe make it be the most powerful local state in Arabia (yes, I know Turkey isn't in Arabia geographically or culturally, but its closer than Europe or America). Maybe you could also propogate more awareness of Turkish culture and history, too.

the Republic of Turkey, no.

the Ottoman Empire, maybe.

(same answer for keeping Arabia)

As Abdul said without some major butterflies the best you're likely to get is their keeping Mosul. That though could have some major knock-ons as you've now got Turkey sitting on a fair bit of oil, at the very least it should help improve the economy.
