Marshal Aldophe Niel lives

What if Marshal Aldophe Niel doesn't die. I think the French army is good enogh to beat the Prussians.

Imagine a ferocious French advance, not giving the Prussians time to mobilize, catching the Prussians off guard, the French score some victoroies in the Rhineland.

The Southern German states lose their bottle, Austria intervenes, militarily against Prussia. German Nationalism in Austria is inflamed against this betrayal, uprisings spread across the German Austrian lands. The Hungarians intercede against the uprising, fanning the flames. The French beat the Prussians again, who withdraw, across the Elbe. The Poles are stirring by now in Galicia, causing the Russians to consider marching into Galicia.

A small BRAVE citizen army from Hannover, backed by guerillas scores an unexpected victory against the French. And all hell is let loose. Uprisings spread across Germany, a guerilla uprising war with Hannover as its center fights the French.

The French are beaten by the republican citizens army, Napoleon III is killed, and a new republican government comes to power in Paris.

Russia, Hungary, Prussia and a propped up Austria declare to exterminate the republican scourge, italy joins them. but uprisings continue in Vienna and Prague, they spread to Budapest. Hungary leaves the reactionary coalition. Franco German republican forces sweep across Germany liberating , and also into Italy, everywhere the republican forces are welcomed. poland is liberated, uprisings sweep across the Balkans.

Your reading a history book 100 years later.

"The revolutions of 1870 to 1872 are considered to be the birth of modern Europe, one result of the social democratic revolutions that swept Europe was the concordat of the Democracies signed in Hannover july 25th 1872, where the signatories, promised no to attack each other and to work for closer economic cooperation. The fact that for over a 100 years there has not been a war in Europe involving any of the major states.........."
