Marie Antoinette escapes to Sweden with her children

What if for some reason, during the revolution Marie Antoinette was able to escape with her children and go to Sweden and marry Fersen herself assuming he is widowed or unmarried, would any son of Marie Antoinette be adopted and raised by the Swedish Monarch as a Protestant and make Sweden be ruled by Bourbons..

In a word: No. If Marie managed to flee with her children (I'm assuming one of the plots to free her from the Tower succeeded here?) she would flee to Austria. By the time this could happen Gustav III would be dead. Without Gustav there would be no reason to flee to Sweden, as his son Gustav IV never really committed himself to aiding the French Royalists. Next, there's absolutely NO evidence of an affair between the Queen and Count Fersen. They had a strong friendship but there's no proof it went any further. And even if it did I can't see her marrying him. What would that bring her and the Royalists? If anything it would HURT the cause. And there's no way any French Royal would convert to Protestantism. They no doubt knew Henri IV's history and knew that no Protestant would rule France. So again this wouldn't work.
