Map Thread XXII

Wdym which font? If you are asking about the small pixel font most people use, then I am sadly of no help, because I can't remember its name (it was something like 04 something something)

Its a satellite, and I hope to do something like that with Liechtenstein once I get to L.
Splendid. If you have any difficulty thinking how to fill a map for such small things, having the Houses of Fugger and Thurn und Taxis around, as well as their old principalities. If nothing else, it might move the focus about claims of Jews controlling the banking around there to be less pervasive. Hell, I imagine noble families moving into banking and real estate would have been a natural progression for a lot of them, so long as they managed to have a small enough share of any principality that it doesn’t get confiscated by Republicans.

Question, what font do you use on your AH maps using the worlda format? Because I'm using Arial and it's the same as the old arial.
My advice is to use a font that you think is good for your map, regardless of what might be the standard.

I myself prefer fonts that are good-looking and easy to read at various sizes. (For what is worth, I don't think that small pixel font you're referring to is easy to read.)

I usually use courier, as that seemed to be a font that did not mess itself up in paint by smudging itself (remaining distinct pixels, like the classic one pixel border instead of paintbrush edge discoloration) and I couldn't find the 04b03 in Paint.

There are ways of downloading fonts from various online font catalogues

This is just a little question. Is there a set or concrete years and date on when in the TNO timeline the thermonuclear war started in that scenario?

Look, I'm saying this in the kindest way possible: the map thread is generally not a place to ask. And you are asking pretty often. These questions would be better suited for a world-building thread.

You mean the HOI4 mod? There's no "canon" time for nuclear war to break out, but (mostly) depending on player choices it can occur at various points between about 1963-1972.

with that said, i wonder what era of technological development would those years have been relative to technological advancement in the same era in our world.

You are making a Hyrule map, you don't have to give any background at all, and even if you want to, this is a thread for finished maps as Fox-Fire put it, and you should try your luck in somewhere in Writers' Forum.

So I got the Hyrule map updated and finished.

This is why i was asking for the date of the TNO nuclear war and the point in time in that timeline that was technologically similar to otl 1962.
Because I already established the PoD for the Hyrule Map. I picked TNO as the "Dark World" Equivalent of the Nuclear war in Hyrule's timeline due to being a much darker timeline. like the war was worse than the one that birthed Hyrule, which is why it would be portrayed in a worse and less civilized state...
