So there was this idea I once had. Didn't look at it for some time (I am quite sure it has been a year). Decided just now to post it. Made some typo and grammatical corrections here and there but it is mostly untouched since then. As can be seen there are some holes, but I don't really have time to fill them. Anyway for posterity's sake Here it is:
The Regency War (circa 230 AC)

[1a]: King Aegon is only a boy of 5.
[1b]: Traditional style of Targaryen Kings (King of Andals, First Men etc.) were abolished after King Jacaerys’s conquest of Dorne and replaced with the style Aegon the Conqueror used when he was first crowned by his sister-wife Rhaenys.
[2a]: The Princess is 13 namedays King’s elder and some think this is the reason for her bid to become regent, to rule the kingdom she sees as rightfully hers. She is currently unmarried and is considered one of the most beautiful maidens in all of Westeros. She is beloved by the smallfolk and has the most foreign support as foreigners consider her to be the easiest to manipulate out of the potential regents.
[2b]: After Queen Rhaenyra I.’s victory in the Dance of Dragons it was decried that gender not the be considered in the line of succession. But in King Jacaerys “the Strong”s Conquest of Dorne Dornishmen ambushed and killed his younger brother (then) Prince of Dragonstone Joffrey Velaryon. The King was enraged and because Dornish succession had the same laws about gender he changed it so no matter the age sons would come before daughters (daughters still came before brothers etc.).
[3]: In the Treaty of Harrenhall it was agreed by claimants that the capital was to be left alone and to ensure this Magnar Tormund Thenn one of the strongest vassals of The Wall was given the titles and duties of Protector of the Realm (will be commander of all armies of Westeros in an event of a foreign invasion. (The sides in the war agreed to stop fighting each other and support and follow orders of Magnar Tormund in an event of an invasion.)) and Guardian of the Capital (he is to defend the Capital in an event of one of the Claimants breaking the treaty and thinking of winning the war easily by taking the capital.). He has an undisputable reputation of honour and loyalty.
[4]: Currently subordinate of the Guardian of the Capital but is truly loyal to Lord Whent.
[5]: Lord Reyne is one of the Regents-to-be and by precedent and laws the legitimate one. For that reason he has the support of the High Septon and the Faith.
[6]: Lord Konrad Whent is an infamous man. While he made Harrenhal one of the safest places in the realm, he was especially cruel to the lawbreakers. In his lands the punishment for theft is losing your hand. But he possessed a keen sense of Justice and if the thief really needed to steal Lord Konrad is known to provide for him and his kin (after cutting the hand of course). For these reasons he was made Master of Laws and in his tenure the crime rate in the city not only dropped substantially, the City Watch was also freed of corruption. Because of his adherence to the Law he supports Lord Reynald in his bid to become Regent.
[7]: Lord Luthor Tyrell is one of the members of the self-proclaimed-Regency-Council. He is the one of the most prominent members. He plans to become the Hand of the King when the Council wins. Unfortunately the Reach isn’t united behind him as house Hightower supports Gaemon Lannister while house Florent supports the Princess.
[8]: Prince Rhaegar is a member of the self-proclaimed regency council. And he has brought the royal navy with him. House Targaryen of Stepstones descends from Aegon the Younger.
[9]: Lord Bloodraven supports the princess. His reasons for this are unknown.
[10]: Formerly of house Yronwood, currently neutral.
[11]: Lord Rickard supports Lord Gaemon because he promised Princess Rhaenys will be wed Theon Stark, the heir to Winterfell, once he becomes the Regent.
[12]
[13]
[14]
[15]
[16]: Lord Lyonel supports Lord Reynald’s claim to Regency. Most of the Stormlords are united behind him.
[17]: Lord Paramount of Dorne Lucifer Dayne supports Lord Gaemon’s bid for the regency. Lord Mors Yronwood supports Lord Reynald for the reward of the Overlordship of Dorne while Lord Oberyn Uller supports the Regency Council for the same reward. Lord Trystane Nymeros Martell of Sunspear follows the Princess for the reward of Rhoynish Law and House Martell being granted the title of “Prince of Dorne” along with the Lord Paramouncy.
[18]: After conquest of a large amount of Land Beyond the Wall (as far north as the Thennlands) by King Daemon I. “the Last Dragon” Night’s Watch became a Kingdom along with all lands beyond the wall with Lord Commander being the Lord Paramount. Current Lord Paramount of the Wall, Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch, High Magnar Beyond-the-Wall Ser Duncan “the Tall” is currently neutral.
[19]: Aurane Velaryon descends from the line of legitimated bastard Addam of Hull. He supports the Princess.
