Here you go, since you're complaining.

Or the best is you add 6 states more and the blue square of the flag would have perfect equal star lines.

I wanted to respect the "206 state" challenge

I fully agree that the best option is to simply annex more land to get enough states to make the flag look nice.

An easier way to do it is make it 102 ten-pointed stars.

Plus 1 five-pointed star as a remainder.

Are there any physical/geographical maps of North America?

#### Tsochar

Moi, cheat? Absolutely!
What crazy person would put that many on a flag?

Somewhere there's a post by me with the formula in x and y for the staggered pattern.

it's (x*y)+[(x-1)*(y-1)], with x and y being the number of stars in each dimension, not counting the staggered ones. 17*13 gives 204 and the closest staggered formation counts to 203, so non-staggered is better in this case.

Interesting! More or less the BotW map with extra land on the sides, I guess?
Pretty much!
Here's my attempt to put as many stars on the US flag as possible. In total there's 205 states.

Current 50 + 2 (American territories of Puerto Rico and Guam) + 13 (Canada’s provinces and territories) + 31 (Mexico’s states) + 1 (Greenland) + 1 (Cuba) + 1 (Guyana) + 27 (Ural, Siberian and Far Eastern federal districts) + 1 (Hong Kong) + 1 (Taiwan) + 1 (Philippines) + 1 (New Zealand)
+ 1 (US virgin Islands) + 1 (Iceland) + 4 (British Isles) + 1 (Upstate NY) + 1 (Michigan Panhandle) + 1 (Sicily) + 8 (Australia) + 1 (Ryukyu Islands) + 7 (Central America) + 12 (The rest of the Caribbean) + 1 (Franklin) + 1 (Sequoyah) + 1 (Lincoln) + 1 (Jefferson-Northwest) + 1 (Long Island) + 1 (Absaroka) + 2 (Israel/Palestine) + 1 (Albania) + 4 (Macaronesia) + 1 (Iraq) + 1 (Denmark) + 1 (Poland) + 14 (Most of the other PIF members) + 3 (Central Indonesia) + 1 (Hanian) + 4 (Northern South America)

If anyone wants to design a 205-star flag for this, let me know.
Looks good, but you could split some other states, such as Iraq, Poland, England and the Phillipines.

A map of if the Kaiserreich took the role of the Third Reich in the video game "Wolfenstein"

*Warning: Poorly thought out ASB timeline ahead.

In 1912, a team of German archaeologists struck the ancient city of Atlantis. Kaiser Wilhelm II was intrigued by this discovery and ordered a team of archaeologists and mad scientists to research these sites and utilize their technology in a future war in Europe. By the dawn of 1914, the Kaiser's army had expanded massively, with large fleets of dreadnoughts, U-Boats, and Zeppelins at his disposal. When Franz was assassinated in Sarajevo in July 1914, the Kaiser knew it was time to finally earn Germany's place under the sun.

The Germans advance was stunning. The German Heer swiftly brushed aside the Belgians and poured into Northern France. Despite the BEF's valiant stand at the Marne, the German Heer crushed them and captured Paris in late 1914. Despite this terrible loss, the French were in no mood to give up and moved their capital to Bordeaux. The Austrians, borrowing German tech, were able to crush the poorly equipped Serb army and were able to capture Belgrade. The Bulgarians joined the fun on December 1914 and invaded Serbia. Serbia fell by early 1915 but their army was able to withdraw into Albania and into Greece.

The Russians were able to make penetrations into East Prussia and Galicia but they lost that in early 1915 to the Central Powers. The Russian army, massive that it was, lost battle after battle to the German advance. Frontlines collapsed in mid 1915 and the Central Powers controlled all of Poland and Lithuania. The Germans sent their "Asien Korps" to the Turks to aid them in their efforts to fight the Russians. Russia's final attempt to strike back was in early 1916 with the failed Brusilov Offensive which saw Russia forcing Romania to join the war and being able to break Austrian frontlines at high costs.

The French tried their best to resist the Germans but with the Russian allies cracking at the seams, time was up for France. The Germans launched a second offensive in France and captured Nantes in late 1915, crippling the French war effort. The French government yet again withdrew and fled to their colonies, now all of France was under the Germans thumb. The Germans High Seas fleet also struck a crippling defeat to the Royal Navy at Jutland in 1916, leaving an invasion of the British Isles wide open.

The Russian Empire collapsed in mid 1916 after the Russian soldiers lost all morale to fight on after losing constantly to the Germans. Revolutionaries tried to take advantage of this and launched a mutiny in Petrograd, killing Tsar Nicholas II and Alexandra publicly. The Tsar's children were able to be evacuated by Tsarist loyalists. All of the Russian Empire collapsed into civil war and anarchy and the Central Powers were able to conquer the Baltics, Finland, Belorussia, Ukraine, and the Caucasus.

All of Europe was under the German thumb, Greece fell swiftly after they stabbed Germany in the back, breaking their neutrality. Using the ports in France and Belgium, the Germans launched a naval invasion of Dover. The Germans prevailed and gained a foothold in the British isles themselves by mid 1916. The advance was slow though, with the Brits managing to hold off the Heer but they were no match. London fell in December 1916, the Irish revolted and with German support, securing most of the island from British control. The government and royal family took the hard decision and decided to flee to Canada for their own safety.

The last resistance on the British isles were finally crushed in early 1917, but this did not end the Kaiser’s conquest spree. The Central Powers moved their attention East and into Africa. The Turks, with no Russians to worry about, marched into British possessions in South Arabia, quickly overrunning the small British garrisons stationed there by mid 1917. The Central Powers also help sponsored an anti-British revolt in Egypt in mid 1917 too, capturing the Suez Canal, crippling any attempt for the Brits to continue the war.

The Kaiser also started to fear the communists and after hearing that his cousin and his wife, relatives of his, were brutally slain by revolutionaries, he made sure that revenge would be coming. In late 1917, the German Empire invaded communist Russia on the side of the white army. The rag tag bandits that made up the Red Army were merely brushed aside, Petrograd fell to the Heer and then Moscow in early 1918. After the Red Menace was crushed, the Germans forced the white army to become an ally of the Germans and use their railroads to access Asia.

As for the Italians, there was a great political crisis on whether to join the allies or not from 1915-1916. The Germans feared that the Italians were allied leaning so decided to launch an invasion of Italy itself. As we all know, the Italians didn’t have a tract record of having a good army so they were relatively easy to crush. The Germans were outside Rome and the Italians capitulated in late 1916 before they could capture Rome.

With the British Empire in chaos following the fall of the home islands, the Germans took advantage of it and were able to pick off most of the British colonies. Most German colonial garrisons were able to resist the French and British and supported the advancing German troops. Free France collapsed after Algeiers fell in late 1917 and the Germans swiftly occupied all of Africa. Allies resistance did continue, centered around West Africa with the British and the Congo with remnant French troops running into the jungles. All of Africa was in the German’s hands by mid 1918.

Finally, the Kaiser wanted to take care of Asia. Using the Trans-Siberian Railroad and their massive fleet of Zeppelin and Dreadnoughts marched into Japanese held Manchuria in early 1918. The Germans also supported a royalist restoration in July 1917, which restored the Qing Dynasty. The royalists were able to hold out and the German reinforcements arriving helped them vanquish the warlords and the Japanese. The British Raj and most entente possessions in Asia were also picked up by the Germans.

The Germans conquered Korea and prepared a force to invade the Japanese home islands. The first Germans troops landed in Hokkaido and Kyushu in mid 1918 and started their march to Tokyo. The Japanese fiercely resisted the German onslaught but they were no match with the war hardened German Heer. Finally, on December 25, 1918, Tokyo fell to the Germans and the war was now (technically) over in a German victory.

Eventually, Woodrow Wilson’s USA decided to finally bring a truce to end the war, himself fearing that the Germans would have the USA on their bucket list of things to conquer. In early 1919, the Boston Armistice was signed, though no formal peace deal went through (think like the end of the Korean War IOTL).

Yeah, that "Lithuania" is really Belarus.

Guys, how do we add internal divisions from one pic to another?

So I found the perfect style for my maps. Problem is, I know shit about doing maps.
This looks to be the same map with some of the border issues fixed, although it still has Scandinavia attached to fat Denmark and no South Sudan. I'd think a similar result could probably be achieved on an original map by using a glow/blur effect.

Extremely belated follow up to https://www.alternatehistory.com/forum/threads/map-thread-xvii.426654/post-16644258 with a fairly bare-bones template of our solar system with objects and distances to scale - planet and moon cross-section areas correspond to their mass (Earth is 12 x 12 pixels, at 17.2 M⊕, Neptune is 49 x 49, etc.), and distances correspond to the log of the semi-major axis, with the scale on the left going from 0.1 to 100 AU over 2100 pixels. Distances between moons and their primaries are at a separate (linear) scale because moon orbits do not balloon out so badly - 1 pixel corresponds to 10^5 km.

Of note is the Asteroid Belt, which covers a sizable swathe, distance wise, from Mars to Jupiter, but has no objects massive enough to show up at this scale, and the Sun, which at 700 x 700 is very much not to scale, at slightly more than 1 / 100th the size it "should" be. Stars are big!

I recently made a similar diagram over on my DA, again using a log scale for the semi-major axis, although the planets were scaled according to their diameter (Earth = 30 px) and I didn't attempt to show the moons' distance from their primary. I did include the Sun at scale though by only including a sliver of it at the top of the image (the full size is 3279 px - stars are indeed huge!)

That's the perfect style for a Neuromancer/Cyberpunk 2077/RobocopVSTerminator/Bladerunner/Marvel2099 map if I ever saw one

EDIT: I thought odd borders didn't matter, since Cyberpunk is all style and no substance anyway.
But then I noticed the unclaimed new east Africa Coast and Neo-Doggerland. People ITTL have done one heck of land claiming job...

@Rubberduck3y6 Do you know if there is a way for me to modify or make a similiar map for my TLs? Bear in my mind I am even below the level of a novice, a complete troglodyte except for basic Paint usage and Pixlr for moving transparent PNG images.

The nation of Ojibwewaki. Founded as an "Indian State" between Canada and the United States in the wake of the War of 1812, it is essentially an Ojibwe nation-state. The state has two subnational levels: counties and tribes.

The three recognized "Natural Areas" are divided into tribal lands and governed by the local tribes. Tribes with historically close or friendly relationships often share their lands. These areas have mostly preserved the nature that existed when the Americans were driven out, though many tribes use select technologies to improve their ease of living.

Outside of the NAs are the counties. The counties were originally founded by the modernizing influence from British and American-educated Ojibwek who came back and sought to strengthen their new nation. They have the same system as British territories, with local and municipal governments. There is also a grand council which meets in Ashkibag and discusses federal issues. For issues which affect both tribes and counties, the Ashkibag grand council takes a pilgrimage to Dani Island, which has attained a special status as neutral ground.
