Well, if you thought that @CassiusBSVP's map was bad enough, I'm trying to make something like it, except way messier (like in all modern wars these days) with more occupation zones and the potential of a proto-caliphate in the banlieues of Marseille.

Okay, so, after two and a half years of constant writing and mapmaking, this huge project has finally reached its end. "The People Have Spoken", the print version of the People's Socialist Atlas, is a 465-page book with over 110 pages of maps. I've spent the last few months staying up late to finish this, and I'm ultimately really proud of how it came out. I really hope you consider buying it! Now, since this is a map thread, I have a few more maps I'd like to exclusively share from the paperback version. Even with all the maps I've put online, there are still dozens left uncovered in the book, ones you'll have to buy the book to see!





Now, if you're wondering why the book is so expensive, it's for a few reasons. First of all, it's REALLY expensive to self-publish a paperback, and even at this high price, I'm getting next to no profit from this endeavor. Second of all, I would like to have my thousands of hours of time spent on this project repaid in any small amount I can. Regardless of how much money I make, I've enjoyed making maps for this community for the past few years, and I hope you enjoy this big, final project of mine. Thank you. :)​

Well thanks Rebecca (aka @Upvoteanthology) for all the fun times you've given to all of us at this site.

And to celebrate such a massive project well done, I'd like to re-post a map that was dedicated to you (alongside @Witch0Winter and "Smileverse/Harmony-Universes" (not on AH.com)) in DeviantArt. The one which (unfortunately) I didn't write a back-story (or rather what I did write was sadly lost), but you can pretty much tell what it describes:

I still remember the first map of yours that I saw. Your cartography was excellent and your ideas were wonderfully original. I'm so happy to see that this finally came out, the original People's Socialist Atlas was oozing with creativity and passion for what you made, and I can't wait to read The People Have Spoken. If you have any future projects planned, I would love to see them, so if you have any links to any place you post your work I would greatly appreciate to see them.

Thank you for your contributions to this website and good luck with whatever you choose to do next. You may be gone, however, you are most certainly not forgotten. :)

I had to spend an extra $76 or so on shipping due to living in Australia, but I think it'll be worth it.

Indeed. The people have spoken (ha! ha!) and we're all agreed this is pretty amazing. Even though I joined comparatively recently, I've always loved your maps. Every single map of yours I've seen really reflects the passion and effort you put into it. So thanks for this final project, and I wish you all the best for whatever you choose to do in the future. What can I say... this is really THE greatest piece of alternate history out there, it’s just amazing. Thank you upvoteanthology for all the maps and energy you’ve spent here.

Well, the universe as a whole you would have to do on your own using Earth resources following the conquest of the earth, though how you do this (whether by taking the place of a real u.s. leader, or taking control of the modern u.s.) is up to you, and we will happily provide the resources needed for initial empire building, and we will of course keep your actual body unharmed as you take over an alternate version of yourself.
The conquer Switzerland deal can be done on your own, or you can start off with it conquered if you invest in the expeditionary package.
