I've not actually played any HoI games except for IV, so forgive me if my knowledge of their names is sketchy. I find it slightly outrageous that the map shown has a more accurate (read: less trash) portrayal of China. That's hoiIII.
Remember when the promised a more realistic china for Waking the Tiger?I've not actually played any HoI games except for IV, so forgive me if my knowledge of their names is sketchy. I find it slightly outrageous that the map shown has a more accurate (read: less trash) portrayal of China.
I actually quite like the Power Struggle mechanic. That's also the only thing I like about it.Remember when the promised a more realistic china for Waking the Tiger?
There are a few posters who make maps as professional as any atlas and better looking than most, and you're one of them.

> Congratulations, you have successfully realised that Xi'an was not under Communist control in Jan 1936.
> You're now one step closer to realising that Yan'an was also not under Communist control between Nov 1935 and Dec 1936.
> Dude, if CHI_OOB.txt literally says that this part of the Chinese army is commanded by a general who is also the leader of a warlord nation, you have no excuse to not adjust borders accordingly.
Please see the purple panel in the link below.
As always, incredible detail, but I'm not too crazy about the auburn sea colour![]()

On a side note, it seems that JJ McCullough has purged his website of all his Filibuster Cartoons. Such a shame. Anyone know if their is an archive somewhere?

The Armenian-Pontic War of 2009 was an armed conflict that occured in the Anatolian-Caucasian region over border disputes between the Kingdom of Armenia and the Greek Republic of Pontus, allied with NATO. Military forces engaged in late March. Armenia was defeated in November, and the government was forced to provide reparations for destroyed infrastructure and displaced families, and cede their nuclear arsenal to Germany. The conflict almost escalated to nuclear war in September, but covert operations prevented Armenia from using their missiles, which may have been targeted at major NATO cities such as Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, Tsaritsyn, and Krakow. There is no knowledge if the Communal Strategic Alliance Treaty had some involvement in the conflict, but the CIA confirmed that CSAT remained neutral in the conflict.
Diplomatic relations have been sour between the two nations since their founding after the First World War in my TL, mainly dealing with ethnic nationals that Armenia claims inhabits the eastern shores of Pontus, centered around the village of Ardeşen. Journalists and historians claim that the Armenian government is masquerading the claims so a more broad coastline could be made for Armenia's trade interests. The World Association of Nations, then later the United Nations, did nothing to help the situation, favoring Pontus' claim. if the shores of the Rize province could be secured, Armenia would invest in it to make a more viable trade network instead of having their maritime trade funnel through third parties (Pontus, Don, Kuban, etc.). The Armenians never sought out to annex Pontus outright, because of the hostilities made between Armenians and Greeks throughout the 20th century because of the dispute.I assume that Armenia was the aggressor in this scenario? What exactly was their ultimate goal? Complete annexation of the Pontic Greek state?
America has refugees from other timelines?
I could overlook superheroes, but a left-wing Queensland? Now I know that this is an unrealistic timeline./sPeoples's Republic of North Queensland: Also anarcho-syndicalist, but of a more socially progressive/green variety
I made this more as a test of my new map style than anything else, so there wasn't exactly a writeup, more just a bunch of ideas, and the majority of those were put on the map as footnotes. If you have any questions about things that aren't explained in the footnotes, just ask.
