Yeah, there's lots of stuff involving Magical Foundations and different branches of Magecraft, but... the only one that Nasu ever really explained is the Western Magecraft system (despite the series largely taking place in Japan) so we don't really know much about the others. From what I do remember being mentioned, the Middle East's system is much better at curses than the Clock Tower's, the 'eastern' system of Magecraft values something called Breathing & Walking that allows masters to perform supernatural feats by just doing stuff like clapping their hands or clenching their fist and the Church's foundation is the most widespread.

Various countries and cultures do have their own magecraft traditions, though not all of them are powerful or recognized by the Mage's Association, either that or they were long ago hunted down/chased away. Christianity is mentioned as having a rather ambivalent or at best love-hate relationship with magecraft, hence the Church's "compromises."
What's the current population of Taurida? How's their economy running? Does the Ottoman Empire still exist in TTL?

I agree 100%, but I will argue there was absolutely no need to insult him either. I mean that makes it more likely to be warned by the mods. Trust me I once called a troll an "asshole" a while back on this site and I got warned for it by a mod.
