I didn't know they where introduced during the Soviet era, thanks for telling me.
Gave it a go with Redraw. Unfortunately I couldn't get the good panhandles to register, but they are insignificant to the outcome.
Still a notable Republican bias, but not as bad as OTL.
Trying to include the panhandles gives Trump the edge (also, it looks like you didn't remove HI/AK, which don't appear to be American ITTL).
Well, at the time of Independence those were the original borders I believe...

From my scenario:
Krym - Named after the initials of the founders. Mainly white and Anglo, but very balkanized with hardly a central government to speak of.
I'm starting to think this might be a good candidate for a Shared Worlds map game, if you go back in time to when just the Caribbean coasts had been ISOTed (as well as those senior officials, cardinals, UN bureaucrats, and the like who had entered the region prior in order to ensure continuity). What do you think? The ethnic, linguistic, and economic diversity makes it a good candidate for an Age of Empires/Civ style of game.
