meme remixes whenlet's be honest it always kinda was
I don't want to sound new, I just haven't read it, but what's the big deal about Kaiserreich? From a brief analysis of the timeline, it seems kind of unrealistic and something this site would usually hammer down.
It's not an actual TL, it's a mod for the various Hearts of Iron games. It's massively unrealistic because there's concerns other than realism at play - things like balance and gameplay variability, which it does (or the Darkest Hour version did - I don't have HoI4) magnificently. I generally found it far more enjoyable to play than the unmodded game.I don't want to sound new, I just haven't read it, but what's the big deal about Kaiserreich? It's probably the best Hearts of Iron mod ever.
Yeah, but is it better than Victoria II's Equestria mod? It's probably the best Hearts of Iron mod ever.

Bumping this forward once more. Here is a random map which I created some time ago, of an alternate world as of the end of the eighteenth century. The map is relatively ASB, so I pose a few questions: Can anyone guess what happened for such a map to be? That is, what events led to the creation of the countries, colonies, etc. depicted on the map? And what would the situation of the world in this timeline be?
Bumping this forward once more.
Technically it is tomorrow, but I haven't slept yet, so ha! Map is still up within a fashionable time.
And her desires are for a world without Disney theme parks? Well, outside of Euro Disney. Seems every other place with a park have been sunk beneath the waves. This all started because she didn't like the color of Rome in a WIP I'm working on, so she wanted to make her own world.
I find it odd that Melilla would be labeled and shown as its own city when it is not Spanish here. Also weird that Venice would take Rome, the Prussians would move past the Mecklenburg and Hanover to seize Holstein for themselves, not to mention the issue of the Austrians getting Switzerland and yet not adding it to the borders of the Holy Roman Empire or German Confederation, as well as your still showing there being black borders between the Swiss and Austrians. If this is has some Napoleonic POD, then having Baden be annexed would be extremely unlikely, given that their Duke was related to a load of Grand Dukes and Emperors. You also label a chunk of India as GAO, when the Portuguese would likely come up with some other name for it. You should also check out the maps about halfway down on the link I am posting below. There were loads of places in the Americas with Kingdom in its title. I imagine someplace this large would be called an empire, or at least call themselves the Kingdm of Peru. The Viceroyalty of Peru once had most of Spanish South America under it. Calling it the Empire or Kingdom of Colombia might work.Replicating this post to bring attention to my questions.
What are you to tell me what I should do with my map? I had seen that some people had liked it, and I would have thought that, maybe, the map may have gone unnoticed. Are you telling me that I don't have the right to post this here?I'll be more blunt.
Don't do that. It sucks, but people might just not be that interested in your map this time around.
As to your last point, you are saying that an independent South American state should be known as Colombia? Why would that be the case? And as to Switzerland, I imagined that it would be outside of the Holy Roman Empire, similar to the Kingdoms of Hungary or Croatia. I also presumed that the Wars of Succession in Europe play out differently, hence Prussia obtaining Holstein and Venice expanding in Italy. The map also supposes an alternate Great Turkish War.I find it odd that Melilla would be labeled and shown as its own city when it is not Spanish here. I believe the issue is you 'bumping' it twice. As for the reason people didn't comment on it was that the map doesn't really draw attention. Most of the time maps that trap eyes on here either are beautifully executed, with large amounts of descriptive and varied text, or involve some imaginative world. What are you to tell me what I should do with my map? I had seen that some people had liked it, and I would have thought that, maybe, the map may have gone unnoticed. Are you telling me that I don't have the right to post this here?
I think calling the place Peru or Colombia would certainly be an improvement, as those names were used to refer to vast areas. What you did was the equivalent of having a union containing everything in North America outside of Mexico and calling the place Kentucky. And I am afraid this map supposes a... Lot. Not really much to say beyond that.As to your last point, you are saying that an independent South American state should be known as Colombia? Why would that be the case?
