To clarify, it's partly my TL. I almost exclusively worked on Russia, though.
A lot can happen in a century and a half of course.
I really just edited in my own personal colour scheme and touched up a few borders. The longest DBWI-that's-not-a-DBWI-anymore-and-is-to-some-extent-a-roleplaying-game just dserved to be in the Map Thread, i suppose.

True, and if you had said "justifying the level of brutality needed to hold onto their empire into the 21st century has required the solidification of a white supremacist, pseudo-scientific, Naziesque ideology among British elites, which finds Confederate slavery more quaint and inefficient than morally objectionable" I would have been all "Ok, that works". It was your reference to 1861 Britain that seemed unhelpful

I feel like the (northern) Louisiana border is becoming the new Kazakh border.
Not quite as bad, given that it's determined by the Mississippi river basin rather than a mustached Georgian.
Fair, but I still can't imagine it wouldn't change. River basins aren't entirely precise, after all. Anyway, I'm not complaining as such, just pointing out how common it is to see it.

Sure! This is an "art world" or a universe that was created specifically for the artistic fulfillment of humans. This is a "High Fantasy Alien" world. The creator wanted to make it feel primal, untamed, thus the bronze age setting. It is moving forward in time, just slowly. I have an entire short story detailing the gallery where these worlds are stored. Read it on my DA:

Here we have a map of another country I enjoy reading about (and also casually bashing) which is Afghanistan. Needless to say, the creation process was probably fuelled by some Cointreau this time around...
Is it based in the same TL as my previous Seth Efrica map? Is that an independent Delhi or an error in using the pen tool? What's the date of this thing? Who knows...
