American politics take a much harsher turn after World War Two, with sharper conservative tones. Meanwhile Stalin forges a new nation, using ethnic Germans that had settled in Russia in years past to help build up the populace, merging with the members that withstood the siege during the war. Keeping the historically rebellious Poles in check.

I'm guessing the WAllies got a lot further west than Stalin would have liked.

Hey guys! Big fan of this thread, just haven't had the courage to finally post a map on here :p. But anyways, I've been working on this for the past two hours and I just wanted to show it off to you guys, keep in mind that this is a yuge work in progress:

Proto-Map.png

Basically, I've tried to create a proto-Cold War-esque Medieval scenario in western Europe, where the Holy Roman Empire, France, and Denmark fight against one another for territory, prestige, and continental supremacy within Europe. Meanwhile, in the East, a rising Greek Empire begins conquering territory in the Balkans and across the African coast in order to establish their supremacy over southern Europe and Africa whilst the Tripartite Powers duke it out on the northern part of Europe.

I plan to introduce much, much more, but for now this is just a proof of concept. :p. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy my work and I'll try to update you guys as much as possible when I'm done with a certain section of the map!

Damn fine first impressions, I quite like the concept. If it helps any, look up the Oldenburg dynasty if you want some fancy claims on Danish land for the HRE. I can always respect a well done medieval map.

I see that butterflies moved the vote on the Desegregation of the ACBL back 11 days from OTL, (iOTL one of the votes was on October 4, according to http://worldtimeline.info/usa/usa1948.htm), but since the description says the USA is more conservative (not sure why), I guess it did even worse. IOTL, the vote was 58.5% against.) More information at http://www.washingtonbridgeleague.org/Admin/Bulletins/2013-01.pdf

Nice eye, wasn't sure if anyone would actually notice the event. The conservative America was more of a creative/rule of cool choice, I thought it would create an interesting dynamic during the Cold War if I ever decided to do more with this concept. The vote in this time line would land in the 70-75% Against range. That's being optimistic on my end

I believe that, too. Chancellor/President would probably end up in the hands of Björn Höcke or André Poggenburg and it would be the German Kaczynskiism....
Indeed. While I do not agree with the AfD in many cases, it certainly would be a very interesting and maybe even intriguing future. However, Berlin as a city would certainly not be satisfied with this, with the exception of the poles and russians, I guess.

I could imagine an Austria+Bavaria+East Germany+Visegrad "European Front" fighting for their european culture - while it would be good to preserve the old traditional values of these regions, I don't think that the politics in there would be great...
