So what would happen if two or more God-Empires popped up on the same planet? Would they neutralize each others assimilation abilities? Or would they join together to form an even greater collective with multiple core centers of power?

Also how is one supposed to defend them self from a God-Empire? Shoot all of them on site?

They would likely merge. The latter in your first paragraph is right.

Shoot on sight, use anti-psychic measures or magic if that's a thing on your world. Be culturally different from the God-Empire, be aware of the God-Empire and train yourself to hate it.

(Also, forgot to mention, but God-Imperials can recognize each other on sight, as well as their degree of assimilation. A fully-assimilated could see a partially assimilated person as partially assimilated, but not vice versa.

I was bored today, so I thought to myself: why not make a diesel-cyber-WW2-punk ASB scenario with a mad, technologically advanced III Reich?

If you like it I might cover some other great powers of this world soon.

Very cool! Since the eastern borders stop at Poland, was WW2 averted or just a stalemate?

Since I'm an American(USA), the way in which higher sea level maps become obvious is what happens in Florida. For people from other parts of the world, are there other coastlines that make the higher sea level obvious? I'm thinking that Europeans may see differences on the North Sea Coast and Asians on the Chinese border of the Yellow Sea, but I don't know...

Buenos Aires, Bangkok, Singapore, Rostov, most of Bangladesh, Venice, Marseille, Rio de Janeiro and Hong Kong no longer exist. As for the US, it is likely that Seattle, Portland, the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Ángeles, San Diego, Corpus Christi, Huston, New Orleans, Mobile, Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville, Savannah, Norfolk, Richmond, Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, Boston and Portland no longer exist, are half-flooded or are now irrelevant as cities.

The colored in regions only represent any human habitation at all, in terms of number of people the recolonization is very slow. As for the Europeans leaving Africa, they probably would do as you say, but there is no infastructure or anything to move back to, which slows the process.
A heat map of population density would be (really hard to do but) useful to assuage people's fears in this regard, I think.

...why bother make _another_ settlement of a couple hundred people in a far off continent when there's still a lot of open land back home?
To get the resources available there that aren't available at home. Try growing sugarcane in Europe. :p

I know that there are lots of other effects, I'm asking what physical feature displayed on the maps jumps out at each person as being "ah, a raised sea level map". The other that jumps out at me now is the fact that the Bay of Bengal is much "pointier" at the top end in the global warming map...

Do you still have the original sea level rise map? And how much did you raise it? 1-2m?

Caliverse - Europe 1975

Just another quick map from my series which I am naming Caliverse - or until I find a better alternative for the name!

Anyway....

This is the map of Europe in 1975 - some 30 following the creation of LEN [or League of European Nations]

Following the conclusion of the Second Great War, referred to in some nations as the Second World War or Second European War, the LEN was set up to stop any chances of such a war from taking place again. Rather than seeking absolute retribution against the defeated French forces sought a softer approach and with the help of the British Empire and American nations such as California and the United States looked to rebuild to two shattered nations.

Its second objective was to defend what it saw as the Soviet Russian Aggression on its eastern borders. Although they never officially declared war on Germany the Soviet Union saw its chance during the Second World War too install Soviet-Alleged Governments within the eastern states such as in the Balkans, Belarus and Ukraine. This coupled with their expansion into the Middle East and Central Asia was a worrying sight for the German Government who was too weak following the war to do much in terms of dealing with the issue.

It’s early years from 1945 – when the Treaty of Strasbourg was signed – to the mid 1950’s predominantly sought to build up the member’s economies as well as standardising the militaries. The Founding Members were that of the Empire of Germany, Kingdom of France, Kingdom of Italy, United Kingdom of Austria and Slovene, Duchy of Luxembourg and the Duel Duchies of Flanders and Wallonia. At the Time the United Kingdom of Great Britain was offered a place however they took a role of associate member instead seeking safety within their Empire however they continued to conduct their business alongside that of the LEN in the fight against the Communists.

in 1962, the Republic of Greece, Kingdom of the Netherlands and Republic of Bohemia joined the LEN followed by the Republic of Albania in 1975 in the wake of the Second Communist Surge in Eastern Europe and Balkans that saw nations such as Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary and Serbia fall into the Soviet Sphere. The reasons behind the Second Surge is still under much debate however the economic crash in Eastern Europe and Balkans were much to do with it, with many citizens becoming upset with what they saw a German owned economy.

The mid to late 20th century saw the LEN oversea to decolonisation of their empires into allied states under the Blue Africa Plan. In connection with the British Empire’s attempts to decolonise its aim was to reduce the impact of Communism within the European Empires. The success of the plan is one of hit and misses depending on the circumstances within the corresponding nations. However the main issue was the Communist Governments that propped up within East Africa and the Horn of Africa.

The late 1970’s saw the first real instance of the LEN’s deploying a united military force abroad with the collapse of the Ottoman Empire during the Ottoman Civil War [1978-1984]. Even though peace was achieved the region was and is still under much strain leading to further deployments to the region as recent as 2007 an 2014 respectively. Though before this the LEN did deploy forces in regions such as Indochina, Indonesia and Angola for instance however these were not in the same united European force as seen in the Middle East during the Ottoman Civil War.

1989 would see the LEN forces intervene once again but this time against the Spanish Regime. Following the declaration of Catalonia from the Spanish State leading to Madrid Loyal Troops march into the breakaway state forced the LEN Council to immediately act following several years of sanctions placed on the state earlier.

Key

Blue: League of European Nations
Red: COMINTERN
Green: Nordic Economic Union
Red-Brown: Commonwealth

Blue Lines show associate members of the LEN within the Commonwealth which includes:
- The United Kingdom
- Kingdom of Ireland
- Kingdom of Portugal
- Crown Dependency of Malta and Cypress.

[Obviously this was just a quick go at the map as I wanted to get something down out of my mind. Everything may be redone at some point but give any questions are very much welcome. Thanks!]

After using paint.net and gprojector to create a new pangea-type map with my worldbuilding project's continents, I was able to fix up the continental shelves to match up correctly. Now i'm curently reworking a large portion of the coastlines to fit together better with the change. (Im probably going a little crazy working on the same map for so long.)

Here is the requested population map for my Africa ISOT in 1944:
africa ISOT pop. map.png

I know there are probably some major inaccuracies in Africa, but I hope you guys get the main idea.
Key:
Grey = No human habitation
Light Orange = Between 10 and 1,000 people per pixel (most areas outside of Africa are much closer to the 10 part of the spectrum than the 1,000)
Orange = Between 1,000 and 25,000 per pixel
Red = Between 25,000 and 100,000 people per pixel
"Major" cities outside of Africa (in order of size): London, Paris, Lisbon, Madrid, Berlin, Marseille, Bristol

There you go. "Between 10 and 1000 ppp"; perfect. That gives a much better feel for the level of recolonization being done. I honestly think that in such a terrifying scenario, the Europeans would be totally fine with each other claiming their historic borders (even if they "couldn't" hold them) if only because there's so much more world to worry about owning later and survival having jumped straight to the forefront.

Exactly. Thanks for your support.
