Post Mauritania has actual slavery? That's not good.
Also I would thought morocco would have a presence in to suez ( maybe not canal but at least railroad across) to get some influence around new Mecca. Or has Malaysia told them to keep out if the area?
Also was the departure today or months ago on the same day as the others in the series?

Modern Mauritania actually has a major slavery issue, in a semi-post apocalyptic world this only got worse.
And Malaysia is very protective of Mecca. (Also the African Muslims really don't like the glitzy neon city that the Malaysians built there).
But you missed the biggest and most important nation that starts with an M!

And did the marshal islands join Mexico? Perhaps a similar free association to what they have with the us today. Or just a close colour?
I was talking to a friend from M world who lives in the US (I have the tech I'm along with C world bitches) and he mentioned a that the news is going on about how the Mexicans found the foundation of a pre event house in the wilds of one of there post event northern states (he didn't mention which) could be Molossia I guess, the 6 inhabitants probably starved with no clue shortly post event. Poor them.

Mexico has the capacity, but has enough conventional superiority not to need them.

.Similar colour, but the Marshal Islands and Micronesia are both fairly dependent upon Malaysia and Mexico.

Hey, at least it's not the huge-ass clock tower-slash-hotel that's one earthquake away from flattening the Grand Mosque. Some of the Malaysian Muslims may be pretty puritanical of late, but most aren't, and honestly would have done a better job safeguarding old Islamic historical sites. Better them than the Saudis, I'd say.
Yeah, it's weird that in nearly every ISOT map, there's a mini-US made up of thousands of US expats living in the respective ISOT-ed country.
Indeed. I know I did a fun little one of my home state as well about a year ago. They are good exercises, and just fun to play around with.
Although, here's a challenge: Wank Ohio while keeping the union intact at the same time.
Fair enough, but the various worlds are supposedly in contact with each other. We don't know how quickly the US ISOT made contact with the other worlds so the small expat nations might serve as representatives in some of them. Not too sure about that, but it could work for some of the worlds. And I think there have been a fair few ex-Chinese and ex-Japanese expat community nations made as well.
