getting into doing qbams/worldas recently

If history is an indicator, that won't end well.

An alliance with Armenia and, say, Greece against the Turks would make more sense. It could even be historically semi-plausible if we assume an alt-WWI and Greece taking a large Chunk of Turkey.

Which is the puppet, North or South Korea?

Artifact of the original base map, which I think is showing that each claims the other.

I don't suppose the person would allow you to post what the resquest was? I am guessing Tibet got wanked and independent early on and both China's just accepted it? Oh, and... Yest, this is hilarious. Assam and the other regoins of India over there are completely landlocked. Surprised there it didn't break up into a bunch of states to be in the Tibetan orbit. He specify Valencia had to be Catalonian? And is Liechenstein in the EU? Brunei British, independent, or Chinese here?

I don't think he'd mind...

QUEBEC:
Includes its OTL territory, plus Labrador
Has Newfoundland and New Brunswick as puppet states

CATALONIA:
Includes its OTL territory, Andorra, French Catalonia, Valencia and the Balearic Islands
Has Aragon and Murcia as puppet states

SCOTLAND:
Includes its OTL territory and the Isle of Man
Has Northern Ireland and Northumbria as puppet states

KURDISTAN:
Includes the majority-Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Syria, as well as a corridor to provide access to the Black Sea
Had Turkmeneli, Armenia and Aleppo as puppet states

TIBET:
Includes its OTL territory and Qinghai, but not including Aksai Chin or Aranuchal Pradesh
Has Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir and Bengal as puppet states

TEXAS:
Includes its OTL territory plus the Republic of Texas territory
Has New Mexico and Utah as puppet states

CALIFORNIA:
Includes its OTL territory and Nevada
Has Arizona as a puppet state

BAVARIA:
Includes its OTL territory and the former Rhenish Palatinate exclave
Has Wuttemburg and Austria as puppet states

He specified that the world remain as unchanged as possible: the only important change I made was making Nova Scotia part of the US (because it just made no sense that it remain part of rump Canada if New Brunswick and Newfoundland were both under the Francophone Iron Heel).

Oopsie on Liechenstein. Copy/paste error.

Brunei is independent: the trouble with these "every nation it's own color" basemaps is that a number of the colors are hard to distinguish.

Delaware's hundreds. These subdivisions of counties, once having a variety of elected positions and serving as election districts, are now only used in real estate descriptions.

Completely redid my climate map to be based off the Koppen scale instead of the random one that it was using before, as well as completely rework the climate zone locations, what do you all think? I didn't use some of the colors as I was unsure how to use them exactly (the video I was using to help learn how to make the climate zones completely ignored them).

This world must be much warmer than ours ... Mosquito paradise detected.

Also, the tropical rainforest are very similar to the Subarctic climate, you may want to only indicate climates that are present in your universe ...

It seems like a really good map ^^

So, this took less time than I imagined. Here are the next two countries in the layers of irredentism series, India and Japan.

From an alternate timeline where Hannibal successfully sacked Rome. (Note that there's a distinction between allies like the Averni and the Ptolemies, who are trade partners of the Carthaginians and within Carthage's cultural and economic spheres but are politically independent, and allies like the Boii and the Illyrians, who still depend on Carthage for military and economic support to a degree, but aren't under as much influence as the vassal kingdoms in Italy.)

Part of China as the exiled government of the Republic of China assumed control over the mainland after the fall of the Communist Party.
Seems a bit weird to me that a lady whose part of a Taiwanese independence party would want to unify the countries and end up becoming president imho

I think it is mostly a matter of being a legitimate government : there is a difference between "ok, we are NOT China because we'll never be China again, let's avoid looking like enriched warlords" and "I've never wanted us to be China in the first place, I don't want them"

Series 3 – Legacy of Spring
Map 3.4 – Federation of Worker Republics

A short summary of the FWR and some of its member republics. The largest and most populous "country" on the planet. Their main rival are the Axis, the Imperials, the US ... basically all the rest of the planet who are not socialists/communists.

Map 3.1 – Worldmap
Map 3.2 – Berlin-Moscow-Beijing Axis
Map 3.3 – Imperials and Reactionaries
I think your scenario is very neat. Keep up the good work!

Ignore me if just totally snatch that scheme from ya :p

And was the video specifically one for world building? I remember a resource ages ago for determining climate for fictional worlds, “world builders toolbox” or something like that

The Artifexian youtube channel has maps for climate zones, if that's what you're thinking of.
