Here's something I've been working on for a while now. For the most part, it's just a fun little exercise in crafting a world with different continents. Some parts are far more realistic than others. The ATL tectonic plate movement is not entirely implausible, I think, and I've done my best to present the effects on the landscape (different mountain ranges etc.) in a generally serious manner. On the other hand, the "Eurasian Sea" wouldn't be present on a planet where we have a much bigger arctic ice cap (and correspondingly lower sea levels). I deliberately added it to prevent a totally dry and cold Eurasia.
As for the inclusion of that sunken Atlantis... well, I'm vaguely thinking of using this world for a scenario where Arthurian mythology is real history, where Atlantis was once a real place, where Lyonesse (the ATL island west of *Ireland) is its last remaining outpost after the cataclysm, and where Avalon (the *Isle of Man, now in an inland lake) is an Atlantean-inspired monastary-school of the arcane arts...
That, of course, would only be a tiny part of this vast and different world, since the ATL landscape would offer many opportunities to create very interesting cultures.
In any event, that's just what I had in mind with this little project. Maybe I'll never do anything with it at all. And maybe you have other ideas. This map is, as is typically the case with my stuff, freely available for any of you to use, edit, play around with etc. -- no need to ask permission or even credit me. If you have a use for it, go right ahead and have fun. (For your convenience: a blank version of the map is here, and a version with just the rivers is here.)
This will make a fine addition to my collection.

Is it true that there is each North American state in this universe has a different language?
Sorry, everytime I see some sort of "prehistoric/antedeluvian fantasy", which I really like, Riddle of steel is starting playing in my headHey, that actually works! Didn't even intend that, but there are certain similarities.

Map I just finished. I'm not an expert on German politics leading up to the rise of the Nazis, granted. So the plausibility of this scenario may not be too high.
The POD is that the SPD and KPD manage to form a coalition ahead of the November 1932 elections. The 'Workers' Front' (Arbeitersfront, AF) wins big at the polls, but Hindenburg naturally refuses to bring them into government. Horrified by what looks to be the impending bolshevization of the country, he gives his blessing to Defense Minister von Schleicher's plan to declare martial law, arrest communist and social democratic ringleaders, and do away with the Republic once and for all. To this end, the help of the Nazis' SA is enlisted (though reluctantly, as Hitler partly blames the conservatives for the Nazis' great defeat at the polls).
On December 15th, 1932, the Reichswehr alongside Nazi stormtroopers moves into Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne, and every other German urban center, with the intention of rounding up the AF leadership. The SPD and KPD deputies are not particularly taken by surprise, and put out the call to their militants to resist 'black reaction'. What ensues is a week of brutal street-fighting in nearly every city of Germany, as Red Front Fighters and Reichsbanner man clash with stormtroopers and regular soldiers.
A strong working-class base and the defection of many sympathetic enlisted men sees the coup defeated in Berlin, Hamburg, most of the Rhineland, and southern Prussia. Elswhere, the putschists manage to establish control.
Ernst Thälmann stands in the Reichstag, cleared of rightist deputies, and declares that now there exists a state of 'war to the death, between the toiling people and the craven reactionaries'.
Hindenburg and most of his cabinet (with the notable exception of von Schleicher, who manages to slip away to Bavaria) are 'arrested' by communist militants. Thälmann is hastily made Chancellor and interim President, at least until the 'crisis' is over.
In the rebel territories, a rival government with its seat in Munich is set up under Alfred Hugenberg, who comes under the increasing influence of Adolf Hitler and his Nazis (though he believes the case to be the opposite). This new government bears no trappings of the hated Weimar system, with Hugenberg being installed as 'Leader', and vested with almost unlimited powers in the 'interest of the German people'. However, he is in practice heavily restricted by the coterie of old-guard generals, aristocrats, and businessmen surrounding him. And not in the least by the Nazis' still massive popular movement, though many of their strong-holds are currently held by government forces.
The two sides dig in, and prepare for war.
Very nice. That South Korea is pathetic, tho. Here's an alternate link for the sake of it: [DeviantArt]|[r/ImaginaryMap]The swift invasion by the People's Army has shattered the ROK Armed Forces into disarray, marching through the city after city without facing fierce resistance. The United Nations Command, despite their massive firepower, has failed to recuperate their losses in a significant manner; able to reclaim some of the coastal cities from the south but unable to reclaim back the lands after a failed counterattack.
After years of skirmishes and air raids, an armistice was ratified in 1954 and eventually progressed to a peace deal in 1956. The gains made by the communist are recognized as their own while acknowledging the sovereignty of the remaining territories of the republic. Since then, the two remained in an uneasy coexistence and they begin to establish a robust economic relation.
The DPRK has become the most militarized society on earth, with an ideology that synthesizes the Marxist-Leninist ideologies with a militaristic flair. They eventually reformed its economic system to encourage economic development, albeit still retaining their protectionist policy. Most of the companies are state-owned, with their initiative directly decided by the executive power. Their abundant supply of minerals has made them economically powerful, albeit most of them are spent on the integrity of their military and totalitarian-esque infrastructure.
Life in the People's Republic was simple and grey, with nothing but archaic circuses and military parades to amuse them. People are fed themselves with coupons provided by the governments but the diversity of their dietary are few due to their policy of quasi-autarky.
The Republic of Korea, with the massive port of Pusan and smart allocation of resources, has developed the rural landscapes of the coast into a massive megalopolis - an endless stream of skyscrapers illuminated with a bluish glow. Described as a paradise by westerners, many have migrated to the city and provide their talents for the benefit of the republic, turning the once monolithic country into a diverse community. Despite being economically prosperous, the signs of inequality have risen from its deep underbelly, with many living under squalor.
As time passes, the republic eventually recognized the futility of uniting with their northern neighbors and eventually developed their own identity. Despite this, they were able to coexist in peace, forming economic and diplomatic relations in end.

One unfortunately placed typhoon could wipe out the ROKAs always an excellent map! Would you say the DPRK is a better place to live in this scenario? It sounds like it’s a bit more open to the world ITTL.

I find it hard to say TTL DPRK a better place to live in. It's not OTL, but still said to be most militarized society on earth and life is simple and grey, with nothing but archaic circuses and military parades to amuse them
