Honestly, if there is a method to your madness with tribal borders, please teach me, because as you can see from my WIP, I am having issues
Well, France's strongmen have always relied upon popular support. There was no 1968 moment for Gaullism and France is a democracy just a bit of a dominant party one similar to Japan. Spain and Portugal are little reformed from the days of Franco and Salazar. And there's no way Paris wants to let people compare their obviously democratic not at all authoritarian system of government to those beastly fascist types south of the border.
This is something I decided to make because I liked my Flag game - Artsakh Republic flag and I wanted to focus on a small region. A highly Christian Nagorno Karabakh with its own identity, friendly to Armenia but not particularly tempted to join. There isn't really a story behind it, I was working with the idea itself rather than some sort of alternate history leading up to it. The name derives from the Artsakh region of the ancient Armenian Kingdom. It's sometimes also used today Nagorno Karabakh natives.
As to the map itself, I like the stuff around it but I really dislike the map itself. The only reason I'm posting it is because @zalezsky convinced me to. As such, I'll take this opportunity to thank him for actually pushing me to finish this for the past month or so BECAUSE I HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO LIKE STUDY FOR EXAMS, DO I @zalezsky ?! O_O I also stole his colour scheme so thanks for that.
One last thing I'd like to point out, I propose that no nation can become independent/attempt to become independent without first supplying a satisfactory amount of variously themed maps in English and posting them online. Do you have any idea how hard it is to interpret base maps in Armenian?
If you spot any mistakes/misspellings/typos/export errors, please let me know.

Oh like that. No, that's done by hand. I get the long/lat from the base map and then do dashed areas around the edges manually. And I didn't learn anywhere, it's just something you pick up as you go. If you enjoy making maps, you'll pick it up yourself in a while. Though if you want help with something, I'm open to questions.
