Alternatively, Monterey Territory.
Or even Mariposa Territory. If you are feeling up to naming a territory after the largest subdivision!

I was referring to the city of Monterey, one of the oldest settlements in California.
I know. I was just giving another option. Here is what I was working off of.

The reason Mariposa County was the biggest one at the time was that it was basically empty, so maybe not the best idea to name the state for it.
*shakes intensely*its the snip shack[/spoiler]
Finally got around to doing something in the way of a key and legend. Central powers with more chums and more preparedness beat off the French and the Brits who fall into despair and fascism. The Ottomans collapse into a communist revolution. China solidifies and Japan gets over it's goth phase. Russian civil war is longer, bloodier, and the central powers have time to intervene. The Weltzollverein and the increasingly friendly Japanese are now facing a revanchist Soviet Union with access to the Gulf oil allied to a socialist America. The fascist half of the planet is not happy with them, either. Luckily the Comintern and the Paris Council are at odds with each other as well.
And then in that case, Alta California to something in the neighbourhood of "Shasta" or "Jefferson", and Baja California to "California" period.
Alternatively, Monterey Territory.
So how is life for the common man in Germany, the ASSR, the UK, France, Russia, China, and Japan?
If the CP intervene in the Russian Civil War, how did it still turn Red?
How did the US turn Red?
How is this world's technology?
A few names on where is who: Hitler, Stalin, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Wilhelm II, Charles de Gaulle, Winston Churchill, Chiang Kai-shek, Mao, and Mussolini.
So I've changed some subdivisions and borders. Utah now has subdivisions similar to OTL Colorado and New Mexico has a larger Northern subdivision which encompasses the historically (Spanish and Mexican settled) lands. Also the names of the territories have been changed! Now it's California Territory (OTL Baja California), Colorado Territory (or Jefferson), Dakota Territory, Kansas Territory, Idaho Territory, Indian Territory, Monterey Territory (or Colorado), Nevada Territory, New Mexico Territory, Shasta Territory, Utah Territory and Washington Territory.

Kaiser Bill has moved back to Germany and lives in a modest villa near Penzing, spending his weekends in a certain club in Vienna.
As a frequent visitor to the Downeastern region of Maine I'm sorta' surprised at the amount of blue down there. Must be a lot of Republican defectees who didn't like Trump involved.
That looks cool. I'm curious about whether the various shades of red are meant to represent well-defined ideological differences, or if the implication is that the world is pretty ideologically homogeneous, with the current divisions being relics from the pre-revolutionary period. On a similar note, are the patches of green an indicator of environmentalist and/or Islamic sentiment in these regions, or is their color chosen because of its contrast with red? Sorry if I'm taking it too seriously. It might be a joke, but it's too interesting for me to ignore. My take on a Bernie wins scenario, the year is 2025. Of course it´s a joke.
...Hitler is a drag queen. Jesus Christ on a crutch.
Are you going to make one with the alternate state borders instead of the county borders? It's just hard to read it like this.So I've changed some subdivisions and borders.
