The Channel Islands aren't any more a part of the UK than Man is. Also, the French have ended up trading French-speakers for English-speakers.
St. Pierre et Miquelon aren't part of Canada either. The swap was Canada and some surrounding islands with the UK and some Surrounding islands.

my old unfinished project, ISOT of states with limited recognition (only controlled at least a part of claimed territory)

[All nations shown here ( overseas territories not included) have just been ISOT to a virgin earth, while it looks more like some nations disappeared it is the other way around. The difference being that the atmosphere, all water more than 1 kilometer of the shore of the oceans and seas and lakes and space are as they where in this world instead of ours. Many Satellites have been brought along for the ride but only those operated from the ISOT nations.

I like the concept, but I’m not sure why you decided on some of the divisions of the uninhabited areas. Why would Italy annex the Vatican instead of letting the (presumably still influential) Catholic church refound it? Why do Norway and Canada colonize Denmark’s possessions, without Denmark recolonizing at least some of them? Why does Ethiopia take over Somaliland?

I let Italy annex the vatican because while it would still get rebuilt, I never really thought the idea of is being its own country made sense. Even in OTL its "nationhood" was only given as a compromise to the pope who was practically under siege there after the Italian unification. Ethiopia takes over most of Somaliland because RL it has been de facto for 20 years and the rest of Somalia is to much of a mess to effectively recolonizes it. Greenland got divided between N̶o̶r̶w̶a̶y̶ Iceland and Canada because they are closest and Denmark does not have that much power projection anymore.
I also figured that the U.S. might use its might to "discourage" european nations from recolonizing their hemisphere.

I love the execution. There's something very realistic about it. Unless you drastically depart from this normal rate of growth then you could always just crop the QBAM to Eurasia and the northern half of Africa to make it a more manageable image to post.

Looks like we have already removed the UK from the EU. Going to take some getting used to.

Who sold anything? This is an ISOT/ASB swap scenario... ?
I think Clandango thinks St. Pierre and Miquellon became part of Canada-in-Britain, because they replaced territory that Britain owned pre-swap; but actually they just swapped locations with the Channel Isles, with no change in ownership (right?)
