Well Nepal has a fairly dense population, but Tibet is on their 'to conquer' list. The issue is that the Draconians wouldn't be too thrilled and the Martians would lose if the war expanded beyond there (which would probably happen because the Draconians want a victory and don't like the Martians selling tech to the Race).

Allright. Why not have the Martians fund the communists to form a sort of "bubble" around occupied Tibet? And since Russia hasn't claimed Severnaya Zemlya, why haven't the Martians taken it, to get a head start on Russia similar to Northern Quebec in North America?

The Martians were playing it cautious with the Communists, by next map they've acted. They just weren't super sure about the radicalism.

The Russians haven't done anything with Severnaya Zemlya but made it clear action would mean war and the Finns don't want war with Russia (the Martians need Finnish manpower to keep their economy running). Attacking Canada was seen a straightforward with Britain smashed, but as soon as the Americans became properly involved the Martians panicked.

WIP for my reverse multipolar cold war.

I've mostly completed the 1895 POD- 1950 maps, but have yet to make the actual Cold War maps.

This is a bit of a teaser of the results by the early 90's.

I like it.

I was bored and decided to "gray" out the colors for all the default countries on the map plus Ireland, Mexico, Brazil, and Sweden. Germany's color wasn't changed- setting it to saturation 100 (the norm for most, not sure about the UK) would've made it a blue vaguely similar to the new French color. Countries with a saturation <100 were given a smaller number.

A South American supranational organization. Anti-communist bloc backed up by Russia for free trade and democracytm.

X-posting my MOTF entry.

Just a quick one this time, more for the scenario than anything else:

At some point in the Bronze Age, the many Greek states are eventually unified and welded into a single powerful Empire. In time, they would find themselves one member of a complicated series of conflicts involving Carthage, Egypt, Media and various smaller states of the Mediterranean basin and Middle East. To fuel these wars, large supplies of bronze were needed, and thus the land of Casiterea, OTL Cornwall, became one of the key areas of conflict between Greece and Carthage seeking control of the vast deposits of tin in the area.

For the moment there is an uneasy peace holding between the two powers, Carthage holding more of the tin areas, but Greece benefiting from an alliance with the Venitii who are the main trading link between the Damnonii and the continent. War is building on the horizon however, as Greece and Carthage seek to expel eachother from the area, while the Venitii seek greater dominance over the trade routes and the Danmonii look to expel these foreigners from their distant outposts while they are focussed on matters closer to home.

Due to limited numbers yes. They were overconfident at first, and have now swung to slightly excessive caution.

Having some slight problems telling the sizes of cities apart. Ideally you want to have ways of differentiate them other than size - outer circles, filling (to this end I'd also suggest changing the state capital notation to the more standard text underline), and so on.
