Personal Union of Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Scotland which fought and won a war with England? I suspect it may be Stuart ruled but I'm not sure how that would come about.
It's actually a "Confederation of the North" which was established by many surviving countries in northern Europe after a dystopian war.

I should put up a thread for that and start work on a very rough TL...
Basically, the ASB's saw the situation during the Reagan years of the Cold War. Deeply concerned by Earth's geopolitical situation (hitting a dead end, as they would say) in that the US would reverse what the ASB's saw as a way to finally eradicate imperialism and begin development.
Said ASB's are actually the human and human-look-alike species inhabitants of a realm in another dimension (or universe, as you would have it) and form a large scale organization of various other worlds across many other regions of our dimension or universe and in many others as well. While many organizations like that exist, the ASBs are the only one that would actively interfere in the affairs of worlds not under their jurisdiction or within their frontiers.
As it turns out, among the observers who lived at the time was a young South African male who spoke English and despite being white, was virulently anti-Apartheid. Seeing the situation deteriorate after Reagan and Thatcher rose to power, he attempted to find a way to undermine them directly through Umkhonto we Sizwe. However, this failed and he was almost arrested. He managed to flee to Switzerland with two black companions while the rest of his wing was arrested and imprisoned. There, through his fellow fighters, he was able to obtain information on a powerful contact that could become the ANC's new benefactor (the man's family possessed immense wealth, but he did not want to involve them in his problems, given they were neutral, rather than outright opposed to Apartheid). Eventually, the benefactor, a Swiss ASB like him, was actually royalty back in their world. She promised to go there and, upon finally accepting the throne to which she had abdicated, she would be propose the first known alien intervention on planet Earth.
In the end, personal issues caused these plans to collapse. Anyways, the couple married in December 25, 1991. The same day the Soviet Union collapsed. Years later, they had a son that embarked on a journey to obtain support for the former plan. In January 30, 2015, he obtained the necessary council votes from his world's council to initiate an intervention with three goals...
- The restoration of the Russian Federation as a Superpower with all of it's former Soviet Republics or at least two of them.
- Spain's restoration as a Superpower, the reannexation of it's colonies and expansion of the empire into Asia.

- Expansion of the French Republic's domain and relevance of French culture.
- Catalonian independence that would be guaranteed by the Russian Federation as an ally and prevent Spain from reconquering the region.
- Large scale immigration and foreign aid infusions through overskilled workers, mineral wealth and most importantly, through technological exchange.
- The dissolution of NATO and the Collapse of the United States, as well as their end as a Superpower.
So, during the Summer of 2015, immense amounts of aid flowed to Earth alongside a large amount of ASB immigrants and technology, eventually, contact was secretly established with the government of many countries, specially, Russia's, Spain's, Singapore's and Scotland's. Eventually, large scale military buildups began, with hundreds of new "Stalin-class" Aircraft Carriers capable of traveling at speeds forbidden to most ships and who boasted a size that dwarfed even the legendary Knock Nevis, yet were able to traverse the Suez and English Channels perfectly. Together with new tanks able to move at sports car speeds, and hypersonic superiority fighters, as well as a new "nuclear jammer", the countries became veritable engines of power and made a Treaty in which they limited their conquests to specific spheres of influence. Eventually, large scale invasions were started, allowing the countries to easily roll through and conquer the countries by October 2015. World War III, as it became known, ended before Halloween. Eventually, the extensive amounts of aid and wealth (surpassing the 67 trillion and increasing up to 817 trillion by the end of the war) together with the population of immigrants (from 3817 to nearly 3.2 billion) and the decimation of many peoples (Americans, Latin Americans, Indonesians, Indians, South Koreans, Taiwanese, English) led to these populations being replaced. Of course, the gene pool underwent extensive shock therapy. Whites, whose population was somewhere around 38 percent, skyrocketed to over 61 percent. Some new "ethnicities" emerged (Asians with natural Western eyes, more redheads, specially with straight hair and no freckles, more naturally platinum haired people, dark skinned people with naturally blond or white hair, a higher incidence of orange, purple, yellow, green and even pink eyes, you name it) as well as culture shock (women suddenly became far more courteous, men had more delicate builds, an increasing amount of romantic fiction for guys, more "coming of age" aimed at males and less aimed at females, etc) and an increase in the amount of older males and younger females (more women being born than men, men with longer life expectancies than women, an increase in male twins) and other stuff. Latin American customs disappeared completely, except Amerindian ones and their cuisine, as they were replaced by Spanish customs. South Korean culture was influenced even more heavily by Japan, who, through Spanish aid, kicked it's economy into overdrive and Russian Syria saw an economic miracle happen overnight.
Even the United States benefited extensively from it's dissolution (the map has some wrong borders) as it replaced much of it's military expenditures were redirected towards creating a welfare state, just like in the new CSA below them.
The war begins when Russia, after hearing of NATO's plans to accept Ukraine, initiates a full scale invasion of Ukraine. Singapore on the other side, shares the power with the PRC and begin a plan to retake Taiwan and help Japan and Spain recover Takeshima from Korea, all while a new, non-Kim led North Korea launches an invasion of South Korea.

What on earth happened to Asia? Are the ASBs Eurocentric assholes?
Most of Asia belongs to Singapore. Only the Middle East belongs to Russia, and Japan belongs to Spain due to Japan not wanting to be left behind, so they conspire with Russia, North Korea, the PRC, Singapore and Spain to dismember Seoul. Naturally, Abe chooses to be friends with the Invincible Navy... Specially given the US is still in their territory and won't take kindly to Russians or Chinese conspiring with Japan's government for a land grab of SORK territory.
Scotland was initially not included in the Charter, but were included by the time the Spanish were pushing towards Scotland. Once they were signed in, Spain agreed to not go any further if they could have Northern Ireland. Since the Ulsters were loyal to the English and they still retained regional control, they opted to stay with the Spanish rather than be absorbed into the Gaelic Federation (actually, Kingdom of Scotland).

As a result of a series of PODs in the 1890s, seven years ago the Second American Revolution led to the foundation of the American Federated Socialist Republic, led by Premier Ethan O'Connor (an OC who in our world exited the mortal plane in the Argonne Forest in 1918, face-down with half that face missing). A rump United States remains in the Caribbean. In response to the failed Bolshevik revolt and the current rebellion of the Populistas in Spain, along with the success of far-left parties in France, in Germany a right-wing authoritarian government under Heinz Bruchmann ( and OC who in our world stopped a French shell with his head somewhere near Ypres) has annexed Austria and the Sudetenland and puppetized Czechoslovakia. Bruchmann, a working-class Berliner of autodidactic tendencies whose fluent English charmed the British public after his state visit in 1937, has built his reputation as being on the front lines against communism, allowing him to receive cart-blanche from Tsar Georgi (the puppet of a cabal of generals) and from Whitehall to do whatever he saw fit on the Continent, especially with the specter of an increasingly-unreliable France. As he built his coalition of right-wing authoritarians in Europe, however, Bruchmann prepared for war. The hammer would fall in May of 1940, when the Communist Party won the elections in France and a cabal of officers, including one Charles DeGaulle, came to Bruchmann with a desperate plea...
aye, there are at that. The Czech national awakening was...not as definitive as our timeline. Many regions remained German speaking or became so by way of natural process of assimilation. The industrial revolution in AH was not so concentrated in Bohemia, and other regions benefited: upper and lower Austria, Styria, and Carniola.

Combination of paranoia and bad judgement (the agreement seemed more limited than handing over France to Germany, but then turned out to be a sort of diplomatic payday loan. Where Hitler wanted Lebensraum, Bruchmann wants what he calls Beinfreiheit.) The Spring Revolution in America scared the crap out of the French right.DeGaulle is a minor player in this story.
Now this is curious...
What was WW1 like?
Considering the PoD, DeGaulle might not be the same sort of character of OTL. Or if he's ultraconservative, moreso than ultranationalist, he might hear the music differently vis a vis the Germans.
