The only issue I have with this map is that you have included the notes below. For best reading of such elongated maps, the notes should stand to the side, so that constant scrolling isn't necessary.

It doesn't apply here, because all the WRN trunk lines use the same three-meter gauge.
It seems kind of inefficient for the West African line to not bypass the Canaries.
Also, the railways could be made more distinct from rivers.
Three metre gauge? Also, what's the WRN? The only things listed on Wikipedia are some radio networks, a British railway station, the Polish Socialist Party and the gene that causes Werner's syndrome.

Not to be a bother, but someone's started Map Thread XI and this Map Thread is likely going to be phased out soon. Posting for those who hadn't seen XI; it's relatively new.
That's why I always call it Nissa, as Nice can get confusing.

Are there any seldom-used colours which people would like to see more often? I've already got something nearing that United States Blue people have been using recently.

Where have you been for the last 18+ months?
There haven't been any major disputes in absolutely ages, GCS was pre-existing, and the only 'fracture' you could list that's still in use now is TACOS.
Not saying this a reason not to do this, but you really don't need to make up excuses for, essentially, including a key to maps done in your own preference.

I don't believe it's proper to be doing this stuff - no chatting about how close we are to the end. None of the moderators are on; else I'm sure this would be locked and the other stickied.
